The company has formed partnerships with builders and developers on select assets to purchase, entitle, develop and build out residential communities. GDC Communities owns Genstar Development Company and directs the development of the Canadian communities. The company has acquired large tracts of raw land and created fully integrated communities. It has also made sizable capital investments in land and has provided equity to builders involved in residential land development and homebuilding.
