ABC Veterinary Hospital - Uptown

I recommend this Vet hospital to anyone who is looking for a long term (or a short term) commitment. This location has a very homie feel to it, and the staff only add on to that warming atmosphere.

i have been going to ABC Vet for 10 plus years and wouldnt go anywhere else!

One of our dogs had demodectic mange and although this issue can be a very frustrating one they tirelessly helped us come to a solution that has worked out and our little guy is finally free of mange. Hurray!

I would highly recommend ABC Vet Hospital in Kearny Mesa to ANY/ALL that have pets in serious or not so serious need. Their prices are some of the lowest I’ve ever come across but their care and attention is worth way more. I will be a lifetime client.

We have been going to ABC Vet for a loooong time. They handle both cats and dogs well. The prices were what brought us in in the first place since they are a lot lower than a lot of other San Diego Vets.

Very friendly. Explains everything well. Mechanics seem neat. I'm glad I found you. So nice to be treated well and auto repair shop that cares about your car and business. Thank you.

These guys are great - I can't say enough good things about this shop. They’re smart, the place is clean, there's a nice waiting room, and they take the time to talk you through all the repairs. There’s no hard sell on stuff you don't need, they are willing to discuss what has to be done NOW, and what can wait, if you can't pay for all the repairs. They even save the damaged parts & will show them to you if you want! In addition, they washed the car, use a AAA discount on labor, and give new customers a little welcome kit for your glove compartment. And there's coffee & cookies in the waiting room! I have finally found my new mechanic.

There are many great vets in this town, I have used quite a few of them. ABC has gone out of their way to teach me about the illnesses, have helped me graciously , and respectfully pass my babies over the rainbow bridge. I even had one vet loan me his personal video camcorder to tape a behavior I was having a hard time explaining . There are alot of good vets in this town, ABC is one of them.

The best vet in town is ABC Kearny Mesa. The staff and doctors there are very caring, kind, friendly and most important knowledgeable. I recommend ABC to all my family and friends.

The staff was kind, did not try to hard-sell other services, and seemed competent. I even got a follow-up call to make sure my kitty was doing OK the next day. In no way was I treated poorly being part of SNAP, and I think that is a great credit to the office.

The staff was wonderful! I got my dog spayed here and everything went smoothly. They understood about trying to work things around my schedule, never kept us waiting, and answered all questions. They even gave us a free exam at an emergency clinic just in case something did go wrong. As the daughter to a vet tech and spending a great deal of time around vet offices this one is definitely a keeper.

We have 2 cats and a dog! We take all 3 animals to ABC in Kearny Mesa and always get all the right information to keep our animals healthy and happy. Thank you ABC for having such great staff like Casey with such the wealth of knowledge and experience to keep our little family happy! Customer for life!

They did a great job cleaning THE GREATEST DOG in the world's mouth and spayed her. They did an amazing job with a very small incision. Dr. Wessel did the surgery. I have also worked with Dr. Fassbaugh who is also a great vet. Def recommend them to anyone.

I took my dogs to ABC Vet for over 10 years. They are honest, knowledgeable and went the extra mile for my dogs. The doctors are great, but the rest of the staff is just as wonderful, especially Casey. Casey has always gone above and beyond and every office should have someone as compassionate and wise as she is! ABC Vet has very convenient hours too! I can't say enough about them!

Love, love, love this hospital! We have been taking our dogs here for years. I appreciate their collaborative approach to veterinary care. We have done a lot to educate ourselves on our breed and being good dog owners in general. It always surprises me that others don't do the same; if you don't want to do the work then don't own a dog! Anyways, all the docs are competent and the techs and support staff are wonderful - we have a special place in our hearts for Casey though!

I have been taking my cats to ABC Veterinary Hospitals for 9 years. I have seen several of the doctors and every one has far surpassed my expectations. I have had both emergency and routine visits with 3 different pets and have always had positive experiences. I would highly recommend using ABC to anyone who is interested in quality care for their pets.
