Shout out to the Jeffersonville Post Office for making my day! I checked the tracking on my ipsy delivery this mornin it said it arrived yesterday and was out for delivery today, so imagine my disappointment when I came home to mail but no ipsy bag! I called the post office. The lady who answered the phone said it will come tomorrow, it had just arrived today, I politely asked if something was wrong with the site, because the tracking number stated it arrived yesterday, not today, instead of berating her as many people tend to do and she said OMG you're right! She found the package, it had never made it to the truck, I told her it wasn't a problem, I could pick it up, or have it delivered tomorrow, I had just been worried someone had stolen it, or it was stuck on a truck and my makeup would melt. Low and behold IT WAS IN MY MAILBOX, not even 20 minutes had passed. There isn't a facebook page to leave a review but that was beyond kind and I am grateful. Thank you to our Postal Service!

I am furious, I live in a area of town that has high crime in it, I left for a week for a vacation and went into the post office and ask them to hold my mail for a week, I told them about my neighborhood and they had me to fill out a form stating that I would pick up my mail and for no reason to deliver it, they said as long as this was signed, I would pick it up. Well, the first day I arrived at home, there was all kinds of mail in my mailbox. I have tried to call them for three days and I they send me to the receptionist. It says the receptionist mail box is full. This has been the same recording for three days in a row. This post office is a disgrace to be called a post office. I feel violated and so unprotected. You cant depend on them to tell you the truth. Also, the carriers that are on my route are horrible. I get other peoples mail and many times neighbors bring me my mail. I may move so I don't have to deal with this incompetent post office again.

Heaven forbid you should try to get ahold of someone from this office on the phone! The last two times my family has gone out of town, we have scheduled a mail hold. Both times, our accumulated mail was not delivered on the end date as I indicated in the mail hold request. The first time, I called several times for a few days (my calls were never answered and were sent to a voicemail box that was full, so I couldn't leave a message) before I finally went down there and tracked my mail down in person, because if I'd waited another day I would have had an overdue bill. I'm currently in the middle of trying to track down my mail that was supposed to be delivered six days ago, and have not been able to get someone to answer my MANY phone calls over the past week (same thing--sent to a full voicemail box). I haven't had time to go there in person, but I know I have an overdue piece of mail in there. The incompetence and lack of customer service at this branch is maddening!

Don't bother trying to call this post office. Their phone is always left off the hook so that it gives all callers a busy signal. I spent an entire day calling them every 10-15 minutes from 8 to 5 and got a busy signal every single time. Pathetic!

I ordered some supplements online and when the mail man came to my building my package wouldn't fit in my mail box downstairs. So he turned them into to office on the first floor. I live on the 12th floor and my address was on the package with my address on it. Where I ordered the supplements the tracking said it was delivered. So I called the company and they said they would put a refund into my account. I ordered them over a week ago and just last night I found a letter on the floor outside of my apartment and I picked it up and it had my name on it. Somebody must have read it because it was just a piece of paper and you could see where it was stapled, but it had been opened. It said I have a package in the office and that I need to pick it up in five days. Now I have to contact the company so I can pay them again. Is the mail man so lazy he can't bring my package to my apartment or put a note on my door himself? I live on the 12th floor and not in the office down stairs.

I called the telephone number during working hours. The first time I called the line was busy. The next two times I called, all I got after about 8 rings was a recording saying:" Leave a message and I'll call you back later." I can't help but wonder why there is no message answering: "US Post Office", please leave a message etc.
